Founded in 2024, the Jersey Shore Wave plays as a franchise of the Women's National Football Conference where they compete in 11 v 11 full tackle, NCAA rules football.
Built on the belief that women deserve equal opportunity to compete at the highest level, the Wave brings elite women’s tackle football to the Garden State, and with it, a movement that’s powered by passion and driven by the shore.
Our team is made up of incredible athletes from across New Jersey and beyond, united by one goal: to push boundaries, inspire the next generation, and prove that women’s football is more than a game. It’s a platform for empowerment, leadership, and change.

As a franchise of the Women's National Football Conference, we are committed to both excelling in the sports of tackle and flag football, but also to making a meaningful impact on future generations and the local communities we call home.
