Kicking Off the Season: Jersey Shore Wave Hosts Community Fundraiser

Tricky Tray Event Supports Local Women’s Football Team

July 31, 2025 — The Jersey Shore Wave is kicking off their 2026 season with a community Tricky Tray

fundraiser this Saturday, August 2nd, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Ship Bottom Firehouse in Long Beach Island, New Jersey.

As an unpaid team, the Wave depends on community support to cover expenses like the cost of

travel, equipment, and uniforms. The players show up week after week for the love of

the game, not just a paycheck. Your support helps keep their dreams alive on and off the field.

If you’re not familiar with a Tricky Tray, it’s a fun raffle event where attendees can win prizes by

purchasing tickets for different baskets and gifts. This fundraiser offers a chance to support the

team while enjoying a night out with the community.

Community members are encouraged to attend, donate if they can, and help spread the word to

make this event a success. Every bit of support goes a long way in fueling the Wave’s season

ahead.
